The Buildings of Edgerton

Edgerton is known as "the Belgravia of Huddersfield" for its grand Victorian buildings, erected as family houses for mill owners and traders in the second half of the 19th century. Several of them are protected as Grade II listed buildings. Most have now been converted to multi-occupancy, with up to a dozen apartments in one house.
